10. Joy

Monday, November 30th, 2009

Dear Guides,

How can we contact the feeling of joy? And how can we enhance that feeling and have more of it?

Excerpt from Minda’s channeling 11.24.2009:

Dear One,

This is one of the most critical questions a person could ever ask themselves. Each person could consider this the quest of their lives. And we can help you answer it in sharing with you where to look for it and how to augment it. But only one person in the entire Universe can possibly answer this question, because each of you is so totally unique. You each have your own constellation of stars, your own things that twinkle in your galaxy, things that pull you towards them, just by glistening in the outer periphery of your vision. But like the night sky, if you never look outside at it and focus in the dark, you will never see the stars twinkling.

So that is part of the exercise:  falling in love with looking at that night sky within yourself. And well you “should,” because you have set it up since time immemorial, the things which compel you, which attract you, which speak to you. You have constantly been collecting these things for far longer than you can imagine. And they are ever-changing, as you experience something that resembles one of these twinkling items, and then re-define the part of it which really speaks to you and you leave the other part of it behind for the next iteration of your starry sky, of what you are looking to feel, to embrace, to live within.

9. Emotional Shut-down

Monday, November 23rd, 2009

Dear Guides,

When our emotions turn off or disconnect from an overload of stress, how do we get back into the flow (considering that our emotions are our guidance system)?

Excerpt from Minda’s channeling 11.17.2009:

Dear one,

…If you feel nothing, like you are in an emotional desert, turn on your radar to test out “just what feels like what” as clearly as you can. Are you feeling absolutely nothing? Or does some small shift occur with a small shift in activities?

You can decide to take a time out, and try to experiment with varying activities. Which one would give you a slightly different feeling of, perhaps, comfort, safety? If you can at least come from the feeling of stress into a more reassuring feeling, you will relax just one tiny bit into the flow. If you can then try to experience other aspects of life’s possibilities, you can experiment like a scientist and notice which actions move you to other realms of feelings. Slowly by this experimentation, you may find the path to feeling more of who you are, until ultimately you will reconnect consciously to the energy within which is propelling you towards fulfillment.

An example of this experimentation might include putting yourself in a situation where you feel hypersensitive to outside stimuli. If you close your eyes and touch different textures, does that give you the feeling of being alive, in the flow? If you close your eyes and listen to sounds around you or within you, or musical selections, how does that make you feel? If you taste something, or look at a piece of art or read a sentence of uplifting material, does that help to center you?

8. Hopelessness and Tears

Monday, November 16th, 2009

Dear Guides,

How can you help us when we feel overwhelmed with hopelessness and tears? How can we feel you comfort us?

Excerpt from Minda’s channeling 11.10.2009:

Dear one,

If you could visualize, hear, feel our presence around you, you would be reassured with that soothing, warm and fuzzy comforting feeling that you long for. And you can choose an image which you find the most comforting in all the world, and develop whichever sense is the most alive to you, or all of them, and develop a most concrete, reliable, instant soothing from the familiarity with this image/state of mind/visualization. It can be a talisman for you, a rabbit’s foot, something to hold on to that reminds you that you have your own source of good luck, a personal compass, a warm coat in winter.

But the real deep and long-lasting reassurance will come when you experience over and over the results of calling on us for the comfort and help that you need and want and see the results instantly appear. There is no greater teacher than experience. Over and over, until you know in your bones that you are not alone, that you are being cared for, that you are able to in fact design your experiences, that you do have the power and can transform your hopes into realities.

So all of this is possible. But for now, when you feel this overwhelm, this wash of emotions, you can also do an emergency act, a “detail” to bring in a reminder of where you want to be and how to get there.

First allow yourself to take a moment just for you. Take the moment to withdraw from the activities or problems that are surrounding you and seeming to close in on you. Remove yourself from the situation into a neutral zone. Ask to delve into your pool of resources, your pool of inner love.

7. Spiritual Unfoldment

Monday, November 9th, 2009

Dear Guides,

Is our work with our guides toward spiritual unfoldment random? Or is it actually more of a coherent plan, like a school going from grade one to grade two?

Excerpt from Minda’s channeling 11.3.2009:

Dear one,

You are asking about where the motor is that guides your quest for divine connection, because that is at the base of it all.  Each of you is seeking purpose to your lives, wondering why you are here on this Earth with all of its inherent challenges. “There are so many difficult moments. Why would we be forced to undergo all of this? Is there no God?“ This is the underlying wail which we perceive coming from you collectively when the negative perspective is taken, when a person chooses to view with the eyes which are clouded with limitations, when the cup is seen as half-empty.  And one of the major developments any human can experience is to understand that there is another way to look at this life on Earth, a way that flies over that which is perceived. That the things that make no sense actually do have an inner logic and plan to them. And this plan is the one you yourselves chose, as souls, before you took on the commitment to this particular life. It is you, yourselves, who planned the particular challenges which were to be “on the agenda” for your growth in this lifetime.

So you see, there is a plan, but it is not progressive in any order. And as you follow the path of your life, there are key moments which you have either set up in advance to jog your memory of what you desired to learn, or your whole being calls for these things to help you focus on the decisions you made before this body.  And of course, we, your guides, are your partners in this plan. We have collaborated with you in the preparation and in the monitoring of your progress.

6. Abundance

Monday, November 2nd, 2009

Dear Guides,

Why are so many of the people who have chosen the non-corporate lifestyle struggling with abundance? How can we/they receive abundance without taking on a “salesman” approach to life?

Excerpt from Minda’s channeling 10.27.2009:

Dear one,

These people are bringing in the new.    …

The beliefs, the choice to renew every moment, the strength of the feeling of connection to the Divine source from which comes the energy to heal and repair and continue constantly to grow – all of these are the resources which you and these people are cultivating. …

You are raising a large internal challenge, to connect with the flow on the inside, underneath the voices in your head placed there by your society’s norms and your culture’s blueprints. In that way, you have a need to have more tools than others who follow the more traditional paths. You can help yourselves by developing your inner tools and by deriving energy from the group that you form together, the subculture of the ones who are finding new ways. The group energy helps you stay tapped in and focused on the bounty you are able to receive. You can also create things together in a way that magnifies each individual effort. …

Focus on creating the dream, clarifying the vision you wish most dearly to manifest in your life. Keep embellishing it. Keep adding detail. When you see a tiny reflection of some piece of that detail in your daily life happening, pounce on it! Collect it, be grateful for it, enhance it, see where it can take you. It is a clue coming to carry you forward in the creation of your dream, in manifesting it here in your life. The Universe will provide you with these scraps, from which you can make the collage of your dreams.
