28. Expressing Oneself in Dialogue

Dear Guides,

Some people over-express their stories and needs to the point of dominating conversations or relationships. Others hold back and under-express their stories and needs. What are some ways to create a healthy balance in terms of both giving and receiving within a dialogue or a relationship?

Excerpt from Minda’s channeling on 3.30.2010:

Dear ones,

Oh, but balance is a key to your exploration of the world you live in. You are touching upon one of your great challenges, using discernment and discretion between your own personal self and expressing who you are, and juxtaposing that with another person or, by extension, with all the people who surround you and are radiating their own stories and influences out into the Universe, expressing themselves.

You are truly only concerned with your own expression, as are they.

Speaking for yourselves, authentically imprinting upon the outer world who you are inside, sharing the gifts that you bring to the table, and contributing to the creation of amazing things which come into existence when the one joins the many in synergy – these are some of the true delights offered to you in your lifetime on Earth.

You are asking a question that is fundamental to understanding this game of interaction which is key to why you chose to come here. You desire to become aware of your divine nature and you wish to experience connection with your divine source. But you also wish to be able to express that divine being who you are to others and create the beautiful patterns that result from the intermingling of one with another.
